Photo heavy post.
After we left Oregon (Part 1 and Part 2) we crossed the bridge and started our drive through Washington. We drove up highway 101 and stopped in the Hoh rainforest for a hike, drove through Forks, and on up to Port Angeles. After Port Angeles we took a ferry to Seattle where we did a bunch of touristy things and biked around the city. We left Seattle late in the afternoon and drove up to the base of Mt Rainier and then started the drive to Wyoming. Feel free to ask about anything we did.
Welcome to Washington
The lovely landscape. So green.

Got bored waiting to play SkipBo
Our amazing campsite just outside of Olympic National Park

Going on a short hike in the beautiful rainforest
Standing on a log trying to take a picture with both of us and the waterfall was a real challenge
On the ferry to Seattle
We were lucky and were able to see Mt Rainier the first day we were in Seattle
At the science museum
This was one of the coolest parts of the science museum
J showing off his baseball skills
There was a part of the museum all about fears. This was the machine they used to see if you were afraid of falling.
We went to the coolest museum ever, Experience Music Project, one of the exhibits was on the movie Avatar
One of the characters
Part of the Experience Music Project was an area called church.
So many guitars
The Jimi Hendrix exhibit had a lot of his outfits and ipods with all of his songs
A letter that Kirk Cobain wrote in the Nirvana exhibit
Another shot of Mt Rainier, this time taken from a boat
The beautiful city
I loved visiting the farmers market. We found the best sourdough bread at a little bakery in an alley.
You could still see Mt Rainier when we went up the Space Needle at night.
There was a guy doing a puppet show near the Space Needle
I was so excited to see this clown fish at the aquarium
Doing one of our favorite things playing skipbo and watching people
We drove up to Paradise at the base of Mt Rainier and it was so foggy we could barely see anything
This we near the end of June and there was still a crazy amount of snow
Looking back up the road on the east side of the park
